FAQ

What do the claim labels mean?

Verified means the claim is stated on the vendor's own current public pages, quoted and dated. Vendor-reported marks figures a vendor states about itself, such as user counts or ratings, which we have not confirmed elsewhere. Not publicly documented means we checked the relevant public pages on the date shown and found no statement either way.

How often are the claims checked?

Each claim shows the date its source was checked, and each tool page shows when it was last updated. When a vendor changes a price or feature, or a reader reports an error, the source is rechecked and the claim and dates are updated.

How do I choose between these tools?

Start from your situation. To email startup founders directly, Backdoor drafts and sends founder emails from your Gmail after you approve them; to auto-apply to posted roles, look at Simplify or LoopCV; to track applications, Huntr or Teal; to discover startup roles, YC Work at a Startup or Wellfound.
